In this friendly and structured environment, you’ll have the chance to explore a variety of instruments and learn the unique techniques for each one. It’s all about collaboration! You’ll rotate through different drums, gaining a solid understanding before coming together to create beautiful rhythms as an ensemble. 🎵🥁

What’s Covered:

• Dundun Accompaniment: Learn about the Dundunba, Sangban, and Kinkani, along with accompanying bell patterns.

• Djembe Accompaniment: Master the djembe parts that support the ensemble.

• Unison Breaks: Discover how to incorporate ensemble unison breaks, including where to place them and their various functions.

• Solo Parts: Get insights into how to enter and exit solos, complete with demonstrations and explanations.

This approach is especially valuable because many classes focus on isolated parts, but here, you’ll experience the joy of playing all parts together in true polyrhythmic style. This results in a fuller, richer musical experience that truly resonates! 🌟
