Who’s Invited: All drummers Intermediate or above

In this friendly and structured environment, you’ll have the chance to explore a variety of instruments and learn the unique techniques for each one. It’s all about collaboration! You’ll rotate through different drums, gaining a solid understanding before coming together to create beautiful rhythms as an ensemble. 🎵🥁

What’s Covered:

  • Dundun Accompaniment: Learn about the Dundunba, Sangban, and Kinkani, along with accompanying bell patterns.

  • Djembe Accompaniment: Master the djembe parts that support the ensemble.

  • Unison Breaks: Discover how to incorporate ensemble unison breaks, including where to place them and their various functions.

  • Solo Parts: Get insights into how to enter and exit solos, complete with demonstrations and explanations.
